Vergleich verschiedener Bremsverzögerungsmessgeräte

Six different devices for the measure of brake tests were used in a VW Multivan. The obtained result are compared. As the reference a Corrsys sensor was used. The results of the examination was, that the modern electronic measuring devices, which measure decelaration versus time, work nearly exact in determination the deceleration values. The calculation of speed and distances by integration the deceleration yields different results by the tested equipments. Increasing accuracy is possible by using an addional speed sensor.

Some recommendations for the transfer of measured values to an accident reconstruction are given.
