FMS Gateway™ for CARs or VANs
The Inventure FMS Gateway™ for CARs and VANs model provides a standard FMS interface for passenger cars or smaller trucks. The FMS Gateway™ device can be connected to the vehicle data bus, which can be found on the newer vehicles. The device forwards the data in J1939 format FMS messages, which can be directly processed by GPS based fleet management systems.
One of the most important tasks of fleet management systems is the fuel consumption monitoring. The Inventure FMS Gateway™ provides a solution for the continuous monitoring of the vehicle parameters, including fuel consumption, fuel level and distance traveled.
