WS2CAN™
WS2CAN™ is a flexibly configurable two channel analog speedometer with a CAN bus output interface, that processes the signals of two speed sensors connected to the inputs, and sends the measured wheel speed data to the CAN bus output in digital format. WS2CAN™ handles the sinusoidal signals of passive inductive speed sensors in real-time, thus even a ABS control unit can be controlled.
By measuring the frequency of the speed sensor signals WS2CAN™ calculates the digital wheel speed values, and transmits them to the CAN bus in an SAE J1939 compliant HRW (High Resolution Wheel Speed) message. The WS2CAN™ units can be cascaded, so the system enables the complete measurement of all the wheel speed signals of multi-axle vehicles.
